Defence Poses for Women

Learn powerful and practical defence techniques that help you protect yourself in threatening situations.

⚠️ Note: These defence poses are for **self-protection only**. Use them to create space, escape, and seek help — not to escalate violence.

💪 Essential Self-Defence Poses

Strong defensive stance

1. Defensive Stance

Keep feet shoulder-width apart, hands up near your face, and knees slightly bent. This makes you balanced and ready to react.

Palm strike pose

2. Palm Strike

Strike upwards with the heel of your palm to the attacker's chin or nose — effective and safe for your hand.

Knee strike defence

3. Knee Strike

Drive your knee forcefully into the attacker’s stomach or groin when grabbed. Quick, powerful, and effective.

Elbow strike

4. Elbow Strike

Close-range move. Swing your elbow backward into the attacker’s ribs, stomach, or face to break free.

Wrist release technique

5. Wrist Release

If grabbed by the wrist, rotate your wrist toward the attacker’s thumb and pull sharply to break free.

Front kick defence

6. Front Kick

Kick hard with the ball of your foot to the attacker’s shin, knee, or groin to push them away.
